Description
Inline switch which connects the two outer pins inside the housing when the brake is applied. This can be attached to the cable outer when constructing or fitted to the end of the cable with appropriate ferrule. Ferrule max. dia. 6mm will fit at both ends (F101 for LB3TS or FT4SN for T4 heavy duty conduit) Rubber insulating cap and cover available separately for switch, see part no. M1012/2673. Switch nominally activates with a force of 10kg-15kg of linear force. Naturally this is reduced by the lever on the handlebar end. When installing this on a D.I.Y. cable, it is important to note that the ferrule face does not clash with the aluminium cap as this will provent the central pin being fully depressed.
