Description

Ideal for off-road trails, the HotGrips® Pro Adventure features a waffled finger-grip area for increased control.

HotGrips® Pro Sports feature soft, ultra-grippy diamond tread, inspired by race grips, for comfort and feedback.

On a very practical level, these are our first fully silicone grips; this incredible material increases their lifespan by up to 200% without compromising comfort or performance, as well as reducing cable strain and increasing grip levels.

Moreover, there is also no separate switchgear to find space for and install, because each grip houses its own internal temperature control unit, operated by a power/temperature button with an LED light on the clutch-side grip.

On a more technical level, the intelligent controller will independently measure and control the temperature of each grip using inbuilt thermistors to maintain the desired temperature setting.

Intelligent Design

  • Innovative Heat Setting Memory function stores previous heat settings and defaults to this at power-up, saving time when in regular use.
  • Integrated controller - allows the rider to adjust temperature without removing their hand from the grip.
  • Simple installation - the new integrated controller means that the HotGrips® wiring loom is even easier to install.

Responsive Heat Settings

  • Built-in thermistor technology auto-regulates temperature.
  • Precise temperature control - simply press the button repeatedly and multi- coloured LED lights indicate temperature settings (Red = 45°C; White = 40°C; Blue = 35°C).
  • LED lights automatically dim to reduce distraction when riding at night.

Waterproof Design

  • Fully waterproof connectors and integrated controller meet IP65 rating to protect your HotGrips® from the elements.

Battery Saving Modes

  • Protects against flat batteries, so if you forget to turn the switch off it will do it for you!
  • HotGrips® Pro offers an additional battery-saving mode for lithium batteries, now common on high-performance motorcycles.

Grip Features

  • Silicone-formed grips - increases grip lifespan by up to 200% without compromising comfort or performance.
  • Integrated cable strain relief - a more compact cable exit enables grip size to be reduced.
  • Fits 7/8" (22mm) handlebars.
  • Grip guaranteed - hex tread pattern for vibration absorption and durability; knurling tread pattern creates the largest surface area for maximum of grip and control; gripper bars for tough terrain where grip is more important for control and stability.
  • Customisable grips - Grip length of 132mm but can be trimmed to 123, 120 or 117mm if required, with open ends allowing bar end weights can be fitted.

A 'Pro' replacement for the Evo.

So I had Thermister Hotgrips on the bike from 2015 until June 2025, they needed replacing as they were worn down to the heating elements, and the right grip had stopped working. Not too much of a issue when you live in Brisbane, would have been so if I were still in Melbourne.

Fitment was harder but easier than 'advertised'. Speaking for myself, DO NOT USE the supplied Superglue, not because it doesn't work but because it works before you can get the grip into position. Took 3 days working in the half-inserted grip to get it off and restart without the glue.

Current placement and use, been used a couple of times and they work. Funny that.

My bike has a voltmeter, tracking Honda charging issues, so you can see voltage at 14.0V in use on high, normally 14.4V when off. If you leave them on, only a issue if wired into battery direct, I think they turned off automatically when voltage dropped to 13.7V? Enough to start the bike.

Issues? Just one I can see thus far, the switch is small and its hard to ensure a positive push for 5 seconds to turn on/off, light is not a hassle at all.

took forever to get here. photos of the product are lacking - probably a supplier issue, as Oxford's website is also lame. otherwise, yay, fine. can't wait to mount them. but you've asked me for a review the day I finally got them. Cheers- I'm sure they'll be sweet as.
