These pants not only look good but also feel like a high-quality product. They come with two removable layers, waterproof/resistant, and a very thick quilted lining. Despite the vents on the front, I wouldn't classify them as summer pants. This emphasis on quality should reassure you of the product's durability and reliability.
The fit is very close to spot-on. I'm a 34-inch, so go up a size. The adjustment to the waist is in the back, which can make them feel snug even when there's room in the back. They are an over-the-boot fit, which is a little tight. With the warmer lining, they become even more snug. This snug fit may hinder movement. I haven't been able to test for warmth, but I'm sure they would be toasty.
Armour: in the Knees is an unknown Indian brand claiming to be CE Level 1 . The hips are a hardened foam with no safety rating or impact protection. They are huge (in physical size) in the pants and have an odd shape, making it difficult, if not impossible, to replace them with good quality CE 1 or 2 impact protection (I contacted the manufacturer for advice, but they didn't respond). I know more expensive brands don't include armour. If I had my purchasing time again, I would have chosen something more expensive with better armour; that is my personal opinion suggesting that these are a budget choice but would still do the job.
Purchasing from Scootering Australia was easy, and their pricing was competitive with superfast delivery, too, so buy with confidence.
